1MHz adicional a la banda de los dos metros.
La RSGB anima a usarla para transmitir TV digital,
con el equipamento como el que se describe abajo.

This transmitter project may be of interest to some members of the group.
The British Amateur Television Club (with lots of help from F5OEO) have put together a complete Digital Amateur Television transmitter based around the Raspberry Pi 3 and the Pi Camera. It can transmit DVB-S (the same standard as is used for Satellite TV transmissions) on 70cms and 23cms at Symbol Rates up to 4MS.
On the new 146 MHz band it can transmit Reduced Bandwidth TV at 333KS, which enables reasonable quality colour TV pictures to be transmitted within 500 KHz bandwidth. With suitable amplifiers, 50 - 100 km transmission distances are easily achieved.
Once set up over a network using ssh, the transmitter can then be used without another computer and controlled from the 3.5 inch touchscreen. A block diagram and photo of the demo unit are attached. Over 100 units are currently being constructed in the UK and worldwide.
